About Betty
I am originally from France and spent my childhood on the tropical French Island of Reunion off the coast of South Africa. I think that is where my passion for colors and beautiful light started and I feel like I am a light chaser. 30 years ago I chased that light all the way to the golden beauty of Santa Barbara , California where I lived and raise my family for 18 years. and found it again amidst the glorious summer marsh grass that grows in the Lowcountry when I moved to Beaufort in 2006 and on Kauai in Hawaii where I have been coming for many years and now residing full time as of March 2024.
My father was a passionate photographer even though he was an engineer and I recalled so many weekends spent in his studio being his model.
About the Studio
Betty's studio is located in the Princeville center located on the north shore of Kauai Hawaii.
The studio is designed with your baby's safety and comfort in mind. It is beautifully designed with light wood floors along with dark and white washed barn wood panels that can be used as backdrops. Betty also uses gorgeous European hand painted fine art backdrops and one of a kind hand painted backdrops by Heidi Hope.
Being located in such a beautiful setting allows Betty to shoot in the studio as well as on location.

Photographing newborns and babies has been my passion for the last 15 years. My love for my four daughters is what ignited my desire to photograph newborns. I have been trained from the best newborn photographers in the field traveling around the world.
